The program is designed to include exercises for people with different fitness levels. The goals of Healthy Steps in Motion are:
- Reduce the risk of falling
- Learn new exercises
- Learn the parts of an exercise routine (warm up; balance and strength exercises and/or aerobics)
- Build strength, especially in the lower body
- Increase flexibility to improve movement
- Improve balance
The classes will be offered at the following locations and times:
Selinsgrove Senior Center | Mon/Wed | 2:00-3:00 pm | beginning Jan 6 |
Penns Creek Adult Resource | Mon/Fri | 12:30-1:30 pm | beginning Jan 3 |
Lewisburg Senior Center | Tues/Fri | 10:00-11:00 am | beginning Jan 7 |
