Debbie Sanders, RN from the Union-Snyder Agency on Aging, Inc. and Ashley Geiser, Community Health and Wellness Instructor from Evangelical Community Hospital, will be presenting a program on fall prevention. You will learn what your risk of falling is, and what healthy steps you can take to prevent falls and stay active. Anyone over age 50 may attend, but the program is especially valuable for people age 60 and older.
This program will be offered on Tuesday, March 25, 9:00 am – 12:30 pm, at The Public Library for Union County, 255 Reitz Boulevard, Lewisburg, PA 17837.
The program is free and includes fall risk screening, a book, healthy snacks, and door prizes. Everyone who completes all of the program requirements will be entered into a drawing for a wireless motion activated indoor/outdoor light or a motion activated wireless indoor light (donated by Cole’s Hardware).
