Our Agency is now accepting applications for the 2025 Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program for individuals age 60+ (or 60 by 12/31/25) who meet the financial guidelines. Produce vouchers will be distributed via mail starting June 1st. Vouchers are worth $5 each and individuals will receive 5 vouchers. 

 

The 2025 household income eligibility is:

1 person – $28,953          2 people – $39,128

3 people – $49,303          4 people – $59,478

5 people – $69,653          6 people – $79,828

Once we have your application, we will process and mail the vouchers to you.

Basic Rules & Regulations:

  • Voucher checks cannot be used before June 1, 2025, or after November 30, 2025.
  • Voucher recipients may buy only fruits, vegetables, and fresh cut herbs grown in Pennsylvania.
  • Recipients must sign in the “Signature Recipient or Proxy” block on the front of the checks. Do this before going to the market or take a pen with you.
  • At the market, look for stands displaying the white Farmers Market Nutrition Program poster.
  • Voucher checks are worth $5. Farmers are not permitted to give change for purchases less than the amount listed on the check.
  • Voucher checks cannot be redeemed at grocery stores or other wholesalers.
  • To find a farmer’s market or farm stand with eligible farmers please download the FMNP app. The PA FMNP app is available in the Google Play store and the Apple Store for free. Search for PA FMNP farmers market locator and download the app. Or, go to www.pafmnp.org to search our online farmers market and farm stand database.

You Can Now Apply for Your 2024 Property Tax or Rent Rebate 
Program’s Income Limits Have Increased Again This Year, More Pennsylvanians May Qualify 
Property Tax/Rent Rebate Program is now accepting applications from older adults for rebates on property taxes and rent paid in 2024.  
This year’s income limit for homeowners and renters is now $46,520 – up more than $1,500 from last year. Governor Josh Shapiro had signed legislation into law that included a key component that ties the program’s income limits to the cost of living and ensures they are evaluated annually. The legislation also increased the maximum rebate from $650 to $1,000.  
You can submit your application for free through myPATH in English or Spanish. Free assistance is available across the state at Department of Revenue district offices, our Aging office, or state legislators’ office (Reps Rowe and Borowicz).  You must reapply for a rebate every year as they are based on annual income and property taxes or rent paid during the prior year.

Your local Ombudsman is trained to advocate for your rights and will work to resolve your problems by: listening to your concerns, respecting your choices, and offering ideas and options to help meet your individual needs.
